This is a very original specification, early MGB, complete with Heritage Certificate showing that the car was built in Abingdon in August 1967. Originally an American export, this car returned to the UK in the early 2000s, and was then extensively restored by a retired garage owner. The underside is clean and sound, and the engine bay and spare tyre compartment are clean and tidy. The wire wheels are in good condition. The car starts easily and the engine provides very good performance, mated to its four-speed gearbox. Good oil pressure. Internally, the seats, dashboard, door cards and carpets are all in good order – the headlining would benefit from a little bit of attention, but doesn’t need replacing. Accompanying paperwork includes Heritage Certificate, old MOT certificates, garage invoices and a handwritten account of all the work carried out. This is a good value, early car.
